DSE All Share Price Index rose by 1.07 points |

Dhaka--(UNB) – The main index at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday (Sunday) as the gainers outnumbered the losers. The DSE All Share Price Index rose by 1.07 points or 0.18 percent to close at 597.49 points from 596.42 points on Saturday. The DSE-20 index, however, further dropped by 15.79 points or 1.37 percent to finish at 1139.02 points from Saturday’s 1154.81 points. Of the 136 listed securities traded yesterday, 99 advanced, 26 declined, and 11 remained unchanged. Some 3,235,126 shares and debentures worth Tk 13.47 crore were transacted against 2,022,993 shares valued at Tk 14.09 crore on the previous trading day. AIMS First MF (1,562,500), Quasem Dry Cells (290,000), Beximco Pharma (268,400), Fu-Wang Food (133,000) and Southeast Bank (102,650) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 56.95 billion from Tk 56.85 billion on Saturday. |
